Scarce 19th C. Russian Caucasian BEBUT Dagger in Niello Silver Mounts with Belt. A seldom encountered example of curved form, having a double edged blade of shallow diamond section with a prolonged tip. Mounted with bull horn grips and silver mounts highlighted with Niello decorations. Comes asit was worn, with its leather belt, having heavy silver mounts.Dagger is 15 1/2", blade is 10".
