A scarce example almost identical to the 2 sabers featured in the book, in its brass mounts which are very distinctive compare to most examples which have relief cast decorations, this one having plain brass backstrap and typical extra long black snake skin grip and nut tang-cap. Mounted with a very strong combat blade of Japanese style with central reinforcement ridge and typical samurai sword style tip, comes with its original nickeled steel scabbard…Total Length (inside scabbard if present) : 36" Blade Length : 25"Detailed condition reports are not included in this catalog.
