Rare American Civil War era Massive Bowie Knife / Percussion Flick Gun Combination ~ Hammer Pulled Back by Thumb & Spring Released. Back of the wooden grip with inner compartment for storing bullets and caps, lid lacking. An impressive and seldom encountered example, could have been used by an officer of both Union or Confederate sides. Total Length (inside scabbard if present) : 16" Blade Length : 10 1/2".
