French 1790 Model Grenadier Sword ~ Well Marked & Regiment Numbered. A scarce early example with its solid brass hilt bearing multiple struck markings and regimental numbers, knuckle bow with a partially worn maker’s name in Paris. Wearing a lightly curved unfullered blade, appears to have some dotted markings to ricasso and a prolonged marking on reverse. Complete with its well survived original brass mounted leather scabbard.
