A massive early example with its heavy brass furniture and fully intact leather bound grip of rectangular section. Guard finial with well preserved struck ARMIER maker’s name, another struck marking in the form of a Rooster to one of the guard branches. Mounted with a powerful unfullered blade bearing a well preserved large markings on one side. In its well survived original leather scabbard with brass mounts en suite to the hilt.
