Outstanding Large Spanish or Italian Swept Hilt Rapier Sword of 17th C. Style. A very impressive example of superb workmanship, with its gilt brass mounts and a massive broad double edged blade having deep central fuller to each side and a series of stuck dots, housed in a very fine original leather scabbard with gilt mounts en suite. Total Length (inside scabbard if present) – 48 1/2" Blade Length – 37 3/4"
