19th Century Black Forest carved deer or stag head & antlers mounted plaque, Germany or Swiss. The antlers and head are all hand carved, mounted onto a plaque. With a beautiful patina and tactile quality. The craftsmanship is excellent, and very unusual in its proportions. This sculpture is very decorative and would make a fantastic addition to any hunting lodge, hung over a mantel (fireplace) fireplace in a library or office.Sculpture is 23" long.
