Unusual 18th C. French Dagger ~ Possibly a Naval Officer’s Dirk. Interesting early example with a strong broad double-edged blade of oval cross-section. Steel guard with engraved broad finials, checkered ebony grip and a large gilt brass pommel with nice decorations cast in high relief.
