Scarce 18th-19th C. Spanish or Mexican ESPADA-ANCHA Long Sword. With its iron hilt mounts having a thumb ring on the inside of the large D-guard. Bull horn grip with large iron ferrule. Mounted with a strong straight single-edged blade having seldom encountered reinforcement bolsters to the ricasso area. Total Length (inside scabbard if present) : 36" Blade Length : 31 ".
