This is an excellent 1980s copy of a 1780s flintlock Kentucky rifle. The rifle features correct tiger striped American maple stock. Mounts, butt plate. decorative accents and patch box are finished in German silver. The barrel is inscribed " In memory of Frederick Dornbach" .This rifle looks virtually identical to an original full stock Kentucky rifle, with original patina on the barrel and darkened wood.
