Rare 16th-17th C. German Landsnecht BULLOCK Dagger with Gilt and Engraved Blade. An impressive early German Bullock or Kidney dagger, having a sturdy double-edged blade starting out as rectangular section having engraved and gold gilt motives, further turning in to a diamond section for the remainder of its length. Iron mounts with traces of black paint finish, original wood grip of distinctive form. Circa 16th – early 17th century. A rare and very special example.
