Large African Tribal Sword Pierced Iron Blade and Massive Carved Wood Grip. a parade sword of title holders ( or sub chiefs ) of the Ashanti people or kingdom in the country of Ghana. The type of sword is not suitable for fighting but would be carried as a symbol of office during ceremonies. Circa 19th century.
