Up for the auction is a very rare antique John Bliss & Co 2 day marine ships chronometer c.1880’s. We are not an expert in this field but were told by consigner that the case looks like from Hamilton 21 chronometer ( not John Bliss & Co. ). The brass-bound case with a hinged top opening to a second glazed cover, silvered dial with black Roman numeral hour makers, key wind chain fusee movement, up/down power reserve indicator and seconds hand set into a gimbal mechanism. Comes with the winding key.Clock is 5" diameter, case is 7,5" x 7,5" x 7,5".Chronometer is in good working condition.
