ANTIQUE WEEDEN #643 TRACTION ENGINE STEAM MODEL TOY TRACTOR c.1920-30′.Presented for your consideration is this interesting antique steam engine toy. This is the larger model of the traction engine that was made by Weeden from 1924 to 1937. It is made entirely of metal and features 3 spoke wheels with a large gear acting at the 4th wheel. These toys ran on real steam and had to be lit by an adult. The burner is still intact on this toy and easily slides in and out of the compartment underneath the tractor. The top is marked with "Weeden." This neat toy would make a great addition to any antique toy collection. Glass tube is missing from the other side of the toy.Overall is in very condition. Please refer to the photos for the best details. Measures 8 1/2" long, 4 1/4" wide and 11 1/2" tall.Not tested for working condition.
