German Doll et Cie (DC) toy model overtype steam engine, horizontal boiler with movable drive wheels, flyball governor, pressure gauge, metal base on bracket feet, approx 11"h, 15"w, 6"d, base: approx 7.75"h, base is 9,75" x 5".This toy stationary steam engine was made by the German toy maker Doll & Co. Toy steam engines were made from the 1880s to the 1960s and, although marketed as a children’s toy, they were in effect expensive, ornate and complex to operate.Not tested for working condition, missing the burner.Denver, Colrado toy collector estate.
