A Rare and Desirable First Year Production Colt Baby Dragoon Revolver with original flap holster. This pistol was found in a south New Jersey home with several other authentic Civil War revolvers. It bears the matching serial number 704 on the trigger guard, bottom strap, frame, and barrel. This revolver is 100% authentic and has a rare and special feature of a turned down barrel rarely found in pocket models but are documented to exist. The entire address legend is visible on top of barrel which would not exist if it was turned down post-production. It is gray and appearance and shows some signs of cleaning but overall is very honest. Grips show wear commensurate with age and use. Action does not work correctly and requires repair.
