A Very Interesting Engraved Colt Model 1851 Navy Revolver presented in a felt lined wooden box. Unsure if this is a second-generation Colt or not but it was found in a New York City apartment along with a number or other items that were bought at Sotheby’s New York over 20 years ago. A very attractive gun with engraving throughout. Does show some age and verdigris. Serial number reads 64736 and matches throughout various parts. Has nice engraving on the cylinder and Colt address bar on top of the barrel. Overall a very attractive gun worthy of further research.
