Authors – iktor Semyonovich Ivanov (1909-1968) – Honored Artist of the RSFSR (since 1955), Corresponding Member of the Academy of Arts of the USSR (since 1958), Winner of State Prizes (1946, 1949). He graduated from the Moscow Art School "In Memory of 1905" (1929) and the Leningrad Institute of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture (1933). In the pre-war years, he created about twenty political posters. The best works of the war years � " Multiply our glory "(1942), " To the West "(1943), " We drink the water of our native Dnieper, we will drink from the Prut, Neman and Bug! " (1943). Worked in easel graphics, illustrations, author of paintings. Among the numerous posters created by the artist, a special place is occupied by the series " V. I.
