Member of the Union of Artists of the USSR. Honored Artist of the RSFSR (1945). Assignment of the title of People’s Artist of the RSFSR. People’s Artist of the USSR (1967). Since 1953 he has been a full member of the Academy of Arts of the USSR (later – the Russian Academy of Arts). Corresponding member of the Academy of Arts in Berlin (1970, East Germany). Laureate of the Stalin Prize of the second degree (1943), the Lenin Prize (1980) and the Prize of the President of the Russian Federation in the field of culture and art (1997)..
