Voinu pobeditelyu – vsenarodnaya lyubov’ [The Victorious Warrior is Rewarded by the Love of the Whole Nation], a poster by Alexei Kokorekin (1906-1959, People’s Artist of the Russian Federation). Iskusstvo, Moscow-Leningrad, 1944, 58 x 42 cm (33 3/4" x 22 1/4".During the Great Patriotic War, Alexei Kokorekin created over 30 posters; the poster shown is by far the best known among them. In 1946, Kokorekin was awarded the Stalin Prize for his wartime effort.
