Well listed French artist Emile Louis Picault (1833-1915) – "Gloire et Fortune. Per Laborem", antique original bronze sculpture. A French late 19th and early 20th Century figure sculptor, he is best known for his allegory, mythology and patriotic subjects. Émile Louis Picault was a remarkable French sculptor and medalist. Picault studied at Fine Arts Academy in Paris. He was a pupil of V. Royer. He came out on Paris Salon in 1863 and he was going on with exhibitions until 1909 constantly. His art was connected to mythological characters. He was an author of many monuments and architectural details, especially in Paris. His works occur in numerous museums of Paris, Clermont-Ferrand, Toulouse, Chambery, New York and Bruxelles; also in private collections, especially in USA.
