Rare and Important Late 19th C. Through WW II Chinese Army General’s Sword. Carried by a General of the Chinese Army. Note the Plume blossom backstrap decorations, circa 1895 through WW II. Japanese made custom order. Handle with fine Horimono hand-carving and intricate Nanako-type stipling on the backstrap made up of hundreds of individually made textured tool marks. Blade with wavy acid-etched YAKIBA temper line.
