A rare artillery stiletto. Straight blade of triangular section, on the wider face a scale numbered up to ’60’, provided with a roundish, flattened knot on a square base; iron quillon with short arms chiselled with deep spirals, the pommel en suite. The grip decorated in the same style, with a disc at the centre. Probably Victorian. Total length (inside scabbard if present) : 12 1/4", Blade length : 8 1/4". ~ .
