A Neolithic Chinese large terracotta pottery pot from 4000-3000 BC, with mystical dragons d?cor. Great original patina.A superb, large and genuine ancient gourd-shaped vessel ? dating to approximately 3000 B.C. ? represents the Majiayao phase of China?s Yangshao Culture. The Yangshao Culture was a Neolithic (late stone age) culture that flourished along China?s Yellow river from the 6th Millennium B.C. Yangshao artists ? during the Majiayao period ? produced some spectacular forms of pottery at a remarkably early period in human history.Provenance" H.
