ANTIQUE WWII VERY RARE JAPANESE 1st MODEL COPPER HANDLE NCO OFFICER SWORD #01002. BLADE WITH NO FULLER, SERIAL NUMBER AND ARSENAL MARK. COPPER HILT HAS MARKINGS ON THE FERRULE. CONDITION IS FAIR WITH AGE WEAR AND PATINA, BLADE AND HILT ARE TIGHT. A VERY RARE EARLY MODEL, PROBABLY PRE WW II. Total length (inside scabbard if present) : 36 1/4", Blade length : 27 1/2". ~ .
