Rare 1909 made Machete by Wold Famous Aragon Maker. Edged blade is inscribed on one side and marked "Por Hermenegeldo Aragon Y Hehmano Ejutia Junio 9, 1909". Eagle Head pommel. No scabbard. The Aragon Blade Known Throughout Mexico and the world for their quality and strength, are created using a special process developed by Hermenegildo Aragon in the late 1800’s. He Aragon discovered the secret of tempering steel to the point where the blade of a machete could be bent into a circle without breaking and then returned to its original shape. One of there machetes was presented to then Mexican President Porfirio Diazm and its on display in French Museum.
