This work by Dutch artist Karel Appel was chosen as the exhibition poster for a show at the Galerie Ariel in Paris in 1971 which featured his work. Size: 30" x 22".Karel Appel (1921-2006) was born in Amsterdam. As a Dutch painter and sculptor, he was strongly influenced by the works of Picasso and Matisse, as the art chosen for this exhibition poster suggests.
