Ultra-Rare American Civil War M-1850 Non-Regulation Officer’s Combination Sword with 6-shot Revolver Pistol Gun. (Ex Norm Flayderman Collection). Offered here is indeed one of the rarest Civil War weapons you can possibly find, privately made most likely in Germany for a very wealthy officer of US army just prior or during the war period, being of a non regulation officers 1850 model with white metal mounts having open work American Eagle to the guard, blade with fine etched decorations and fine original mirrored finish. Hilt and lower blade mounted with a complex mechanism of a six-shot revolver, all in perfect working order. When sheathed the gun is placed and secured on the side of the scabbard so it can actually be fired at attackers right off the belt without taking the sword out of its scabbard. Awesome piece of the Civil War History in Amazing condition for its age. Would be very hard to find another American example such as this one. Total length in scabbard ( when scabbard is present, without scabbard otherwise) – 42", length of the blade – 33.5". ~~~ DEAR BIDDERS, Please View More Detailed Close-Up Images by visiting our website – Sofedesignauctions.com ~ Thank you.
