Amazing American Civil War US Cavalry Officers Combination Sword / Revolver Pistol Gun (Ex Norm Flayderman Collection). A Spectacular Example of the Ultra-rare and Possibly Unique US Officer’s Weapon, Definitely Worthy of the Military Figure of the Highest Status and Rank. Large Sword with profusely engraved brass hilt mounts featuring US Shields among fine floral scrolls and original leather and wire covered grip, the tang cap is made to be un-threaded and dismounted for the cleaning and service of the firing mechanism. The six-shot revolver in this case is mounted on the top of the blade and grip with trigger positioned under the grip. Blade of high quality retaining its original steel finish with light patina and crisp etched panels of war trophies and floral motifs. Fantastic condition overall and with its blued steel scabbard specially designed for the gun to be fired while the sword is sheathed, it would come especially handy when several horsemen chasing you down on the battlefield and getting close.
