Published by Iskusstvo, Moscow – Leningrad, 1949. 84 x 59 cm. 22 3/4 x 16 1/2 inches. A memento of the Great Plan for the Transformation of Nature, an ambitious program seeking to modify the climate of the drought- prone regions of European Russia by creating an extensive network of irrigation canals and forest shelterbelts.
