Hard to find an antique German wine filter. The filter is constructed with an enamel painted lightweight metal frame. Great decor with grapes and grapes leaves. It has handles to each side and includes the original wood and brass spout. The filter would have been used in the commercial production of wine in the Rhine Valley.
