Rare Osoraku-Zukuri Ko-Wakizashi with 16 and ? inch blade having an extra large kissaki tip with length over 10 inches. Patterned after a famous blade from the 1500s, the kissaki tip is over half the blade length and curves upward. Signed Yoshihiro, ca. 1800s, the blade with tight ko-itame hada and Ichimonji style juka choji hamon. The blade mounted in black lacquered shirasaya that shows some cracking on one side.
