Koto tanto, 11 inch length of cutting edge, mumei o-suriage, ca. 1400s-1500s, shobu-zukuri construction with bo-hi grooves and faint bonji horimono, midare hamon, in nice aikuchi-style samurai koshirae with kozuka utility knife.
Total length (inside scabbard if present) : 22", Nagasa : 11", Knife is 8 1/8" long, blade is 4 1/4".
