Koto katana, mumei o-suriage with multiple holes in the tang, ca. 1500s. The 26 and 1/2 inch blade shows a deeper curvature in the tang. The hada is a refined and tight itame with the hamon a straight suguha having subtle hataraki. Mint condition blade with proper polish, stored in shirasaya. With NBTHK Hozon certificate attributing the blade to the Mihara school.
