Russo-Japanese War to World War 2. Army General Grade Kyu-gunto, carried only by Japanese Army Generals. This is not a parade sword. This two-hand Type 19 Kyu-gunto katana has a fully-decorated gold gilt backstrap. Oxalis flower Family mon on pommel of the Katabami Samurai clans. Murato type blade with acid-etched Yakiba tamper line. A Rare sword.
