Great unusual contemporary art clay sculpture by California artist Kina Crow. Amazing details, superb quality.Kina Crow utilizes her experience in theater in order to infuse her sculptures with a distinct sense of character. Years spent helping actors creating their own characters has given her a wealth of knowledge concerning story, fantasy, relationships, and narration. Each piece has naturally taken on a story of its own, arising from Crow’s instinct to create and nurture the different characters from her imagination. Now a full-time, self-taught artist working out of California, the sculptures and paintings Crow makes are heavily influenced by her own life. She describes the motivation behind her transition to becoming an artist as, "the incessant call of an unorganized mind, pleading for expression."
