Koto naginata naoshi wakizashi sword, ca. 1500s, with shobu-zukuri construction. The 15 inch blade shows a combination of itame and straighter masame hada. The hamon is a Soshu style notare with activities. The tang is mumei and unsigned, likely late Yamato school. The blade stored in wooden shirasaya but also with samurai style koshirae with red lacquered saya and custom tsuka
