American Revolution era Navy Officer’s Spadroon Sword. Early example with brass mounts and carved horn grip, wearing a deeply curved large-fullered blade housed in its original leather scabbard having one break near the middle. Remains of the very old label on the scabbard, probably indicating on where the sword was found. Total Length (inside scabbard if present) : 33 1/2" Blade Length : 28".
