A marvelous hand carved antique Chinese cinnabar vase mounted as lamp. The body, neck and bottom of the vase are densely carved with various village scenes, trees and flowers. The entirety of each vase is beautifully decorated with flowing patterns which extend from top to bottom. The cinnabar is beautifully hand carved with extreme expertise and precision. Layers upon layers of red lacquer are applied and delicately hand carved into these gorgeous floral patterns. There are four main panes on each side. Each is of a village scene. The lamp needs to be re-electrified. It might be easily converted back to vase.Lamp is 22,5" tall.
