In its richly gilt brass furniture having exquisite high relief chiseled American eagle and other fabulous details, silver grip having lovely floral ornaments. Wearing a double edged blade of diamond section, profusely etched with war trophies and Patriotic motives including a lengthy Presentation inscription and still showing rich gold gilt finish almost entirely intact. Lower blade with an etched Ohio maker’s logo and struck Bear marking on the other side. An exquisite and exceptionally handsome American made example.
