Awesome Rare English or American Large Plug Bayonet Bowie Knife with Hammer & Needle for Saddle Maker ~ Civil War era. Great quality and rarity example with superb blade having very sharp saw back, lower blade with a circular protrusion for locking inside the shark skin scabbard. Reversible brass grip to be used as a plug-bayonet or a dagger, also serving as a handle for a large needle screwed in to the pommel and used for leather working along with the awesome hammer cross-guard.
