Rare 19th C. German Eisenhauer Damascus Cavalry Sword. Large battle saber in its iron furniture with a fine shark skin grip and chiseled pommel decoration. Mounted with a powerful quill-back blade of actively patterned Damascus steel. Lower blade struck with a large maker’s mark and etched EISENHAUER on one side and DAMASTSTAHL to the other.
