Massive 16th C. German Executioner’s Beheading Sword ~ Huge Blade Engraved "BEWARE OF EVIL & YOU WILL NOT COME INTO COURT". An exceptionally impressive large example with its powerful broad double edged blade chiseled inside the fullers with a Law Abiding Motto. Large steel cross-guard and pommel, leather over wood grip possibly replaced or restored in later era, still bearing a Museum number tag at the pommel.
