Good 18th Century Indo Persian Wootz Damascus Dagger. Early example with broad curved blade of distinctive and seldom encountered form, flower pattern chiseled having gold inlaid outlines. Large iron grip chiseled with florals and showing some remains of the gold gilding. In its brass over wood scabbard engraved with flowers and birds. High quality dagger of a very rare form.
