A Rare American Civil War era Confederate Field & Staff Officer’s Sword. With its brass furniture having triple-branched guard with CS between upper branches, foliage decorations to the rest, and leather covered wood grip bound by twisted brass wire. Mounted with a lightly curved unmarked blade having large unstopped fuller to each side, in its blued steel scabbard with brass mounts showing some sort of gilt finish. Total Length (inside scabbard if present) : 39 1/2", Blade Length : 33"
