An attractive officer’s saber in its brass mounts with engraved and carved decorations, checkered ebony grip and a curved single edged blade featuring etched carbolistic inscription, war trophies and a Turkish warrior bust. Traces of gold gilt finish remaining. The scabbard bearing a bullet shot to the upper part, which has possibly saved the life of its owner during the battle. Total Length (inside scabbard if present) : 41". Blade Length : 32 1/4"
