Outstanding 19th C. Russian Caucasian Miquelet Pistol in Full Niello Silver Mounts. A trully spectacular and rare example fully dressed in highest jewelry quality Niello silver, featuring an Islamic writing cartouche to one side. The barrel is profusely inlaid with gold writings and decorations including the name of the maker and some Islamic calligraphy. A Superb weapon made by the Caucasian Jewelers of the 19th century.Pistol is 17" long.
