Outstanding 17th-18th C. English Cromwellian or German Helmet. A very large and well-built example forged of strong steel with the raised ridge on top of the skull, large riveted visor and large hinged ear flaps. Adorned with a series of steel rivets and nice decorations. A very attractive helmet, most likely officers type from around English civil ar era or slightly earlier.
