Large 19th C. Islamic Arabic Wahabitte JAMBIYA Dagger Sword in Silver & Brass Mounts. A short sword rather than a dagger, mounted with a very long deeply curved broad double-edged blade with two fullers to each side and a central strip of engraved decorations. In its heavy solid silver mounts with engraved decorations and a silver and brass covered wood scabbard having its original large leather belt still intact the grip appears to be either of wood or buffalo horn. Very nice and complete example overall.Dagger is 21", blade is 15".
