Large 19th C. Islamic Arabic Wahabitte JAMBIYA Dagger Sword in Silver Mounts. A short sword rather than a dagger, mounted with a very long deeply curved broad double-edged blade with two fullers to each side and a central strip of engraved decorations. In its heavy solid silver mounts with intense engraved decorations and a leather covered wood scabbard, the grip appears to be either of wood or buffalo horn.Dagger is 27", blade is 16".
